Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Day 22 of thanks:
I'm thankful for Abraham Lincoln...in 1863 he set forth the first officially recognized Thanksgiving. Read his proclamation here..Lincoln's Thanksgiving Proclamation.
Because of this proclamation I was able to spend the day with my family on a normal "work" day. We had fun with the kids just hanging around the house. Then we had the traditional Thanksgiving Turkey dinner. After dinner we watched A Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving.
Now the kids are in bed. My husband and I started catching up on the show "The Big Bang Theory" that we've missed this season. And soon it will be bedtime and that is another thing I'm thankful for...sleep. I love my sleep.
So good night!
